Everyone Loses

Every single American, black, white, rich, poor, Democrat, Independent, Republican and everything in between is about to lose. Health care IS going to pass, no doubt about it. Politics as usual is being played out in Washington in a brazen and reckless way. Democratic lawmakers are completely ignoring the wishes of the American people.

The unfortunate and working poor are going to lose because the insurance they are going to be forced to get may still be unaffordable. They will become permanent slaves to the government that is promising them everything from cradle to grave. While they unwittingly wait for the handout, the government is preparing their shackles.

The middle class is going to lose because their taxes and premiums are going to skyrocket to pay for the forced insurance of those who cant afford it or don’t want insurance. The more money the middle class has to pay for insurance and taxes, the less they have to spend on other things, further hurting our economy. Employers will be forced to stop hiring or may even have to cut jobs to save on insurance costs, further hurting the middle class. This administration is attempting to disrupt our Republic by destroying the middle class. If you don’t need the government they can’t control you. A vibrant middle class is a danger to this government.

The “rich” are going to lose. Already paying a disproportionate amount of the country’s taxes, they are about to have to pay much more. What the government defines as rich, may be the self employed pizza shop owner or manufacturing shop owner down the street. If these “rich” folks are forced to pay even more, they may layoff employees, stop hiring or close all together. When this happens we all lose.

The Obama administration is going to lose. When the American people finally realize the damage done and the true cost of health care, his approval ratings are going to hit the lowest of any president ever. The worst fear I have is that he may actually be in physical danger, as a hatred for him and his administration seems to be hitting a boiling point. Americans are not fond of being forced into unconstitutional laws and restraints. Physical harm is a horrible reality that could affect this overreaching administration. Harm to any president is a loss for the country.

The Democrats are going to lose. America’s disdain for the party is growing daily. They WILL lose in an unimaginable way in 2010. Prepare for a shocking election cycle this year. I believe the losses in 2010 will be unprecedented.

Republicans are going to lose as well. The conservative movement is going to take over the party and force it back to its roots. Many RINO’s are going to lose primary races as a result of their inaction over the last few years. While us conservatives may not see this as a great loss, the Republicans being voted out will probably disagree.

Bottom line, we all lose with this health care legislation. Its time to start planning how we are going to repeal or reverse the health care bill when we win back control. Time to take the lemons and make lemonade. Read the conservative battle plan for 2010.
